This year’s largest nonwovens event, the Asian Nonwovens Exhibition (ANEX), will be held June 6-8 at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan. The event, which, along with IDEA in North America and INDEX in Europe, is a part of the three-year rotation of global nonwovens events. It is expected to feature 700 exhibitors which will attract 30,000 visitors over the course of three days.
Exhibitors will include nonwovens producers, machinery and equipment suppliers and raw material manufacturers from across the globe. They will present the latest and greatest innovative technologies that will define the next several years of nonwovens.
The last two ANEX events were held in Korea in 2015 and China in 2012. Like them, ANEX 2018 will attract senior level executives and key decision makers both from Asia and around the world.
In addition to the exhibition, ANEX will feature the Global Nonwovens Summit (GNS), jointly organized by ANFA (Asia Nonwoven Fabrics Association), EDANA (European Disposables and Nonwovens Association) and INDA (Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry). Speakers at this event will give lectures on a range of global developments impacting every part of the nonwovens industry.
Meanwhile, the ANEX conference, which will run concurrently at Big Sight, will feature a range of speakers on topics including machinery and equipment, the environment, healthcare and automotives. Speakers represent top academic institutions as well as some of the most important companies in nonwovens.
The next several pages of Nonwovens Industry offer a sneak peak of ANEX, including a comprehensive conference schedule (see page 58) and a listing of what some companies plan to present at the show. Whether you are going to ANEX or not, these pages will give you a great sense of what is expected at the event. And, don’t forget to check back in July for our comprehensive post-show wrap up.
